Bring It News Correspondence

Bring It News Correspondence is the organizational byline of the Bring It News editorial desk. It appears on articles produced through our standard editorial workflow rather than on work attributed to an individual staff writer.

Who the editorial desk is

Bring It News is a small, focused sports publication. Articles are produced by a shared editorial process — research, synthesis, drafting, consistency checks, and review — rather than assigned to individual reporters. The Correspondence byline reflects that collective, organizational authorship honestly: it does not represent a person, and it is not a pen name for one.

How articles are sourced

Every article draws on identifiable public reporting — coverage from reputable outlets, official team and league releases, and other primary material. The sources an article relies on are listed at the end of each article under Sources & Referenced Reporting, so readers can see exactly what reporting informed the piece.

How articles are reviewed

Articles pass through automated fact and consistency checks, then editorial review. When an article has been read and approved by a named human editor, the article page says so — for example, “Reviewed by Shawn L., Editor” alongside the review date. When an article has not been individually reviewed by a named editor, it carries no review claim.

Reviewer credit describes editorial oversight, not authorship. A reviewer approves accuracy, sourcing, fairness, and language; the article itself remains the work of the editorial desk.

Automation and AI assistance

Bring It News uses software automation to support research, drafting, and consistency checks. Automation output is an input to editorial judgment and rules — not a substitute for it, and not a claim of perfection. Our use of automation is disclosed on every article and described in detail in our Editorial Policy.

Accountability and corrections

The editorial desk is accountable for everything published under the Correspondence byline. If we get something wrong, we correct it — see our Corrections page for how corrections work and how to request one. Errors can be reported to editor@bringitnews.com.
